2013 who what where

So 2013 is here at last, racing for the season in Brisbane at least is only days away from commencing – so who will race what, where and when. Who will win. What motor is being used for Onroad Stock. What else do we want to know.

Meakin Park Onroad – business as usual every second Saturday night, track opens at 4pm for pre race practice racing from 6. First race night 12th Jan and fortnightly from there. Also there is a Wednesday fortnightly practice, F1, Mini, few laughs night on teh Wednesday directly prior to the Sat night meet, gates open at 5.

21.5 Blinky and Mod are confirmed, stock will be blinky but not decided yet if it will be 17.5 or 13.5

Bayside Onroad – There is not a lot of confirmed info at this stage. Racing Sundays fortnightly (may become Saturday nights for the summer – watch this space. 21.5 blinky and I believe 13.5 blinky are the classes. and Nitro if any turn up.

Chargers EP10 Offroad – running teh usual classes for Offroad at their Redbank track on a fortnightly Saturday night.

GCRC Raceway – Indoor Offroad clay track running EP10 classes. TRucks Tuesday nights 6.45, buggies Wednesday nights 6.45, all classes Sunday morning fortnightly.

In addition there are some GP8 Offroad tracks around and Brendale which caters for all scales Onroad Nitro and EP10.

Enough for everyone but who will go where and who will win.

For me it’s Logan Onroad Wed and Sat on their week. GCRC every second wednesday night and an ocassional Sunday. Some Chargers events and some Bayside events if they go to Saturday nights. Classes Logan will be F1 and TC (21.5 or 17.5) GCRC will be 2wd stock (or mod if no stock) 4wd stock (or mod if no stock) Chargers probably stock truck and Bayside 21.5. Thats my year – possible RC road trips Tamworth or Mildura.

My ambitions for 2013 will probably a dable in 21.5 ( just to rattle B1 ) and 13.5 at bayside.

I am hoping all clubs will go 21.5, 13.5, and Mod.

    Just my opinion.

13.5 looks likes a fantastic class with more speed and still minimum wear on the cars. But a distinct lap time difference between each class.

Time for a change…………for the better.

  2. Brad Palmer says:

B1 knees are rattling in sheer amusement at the prospect of Mr Lewis beating B1.

Won’t matter as the 2012 inter club 21.5 champ will flogg us all.

    Mr Lewis- YOU GOT NOTHING

  3. Brad Palmer says:

Yes old boy lots of tracks to race.

I’m going to try every ware, chargers a must (even mr Lewis can get his cougar out for a run).

Meakin as usual, Bayside a big yes if they go to Sat nights, but will have to split between chargers.

Wed nights GCR or maybe Sunday morning GCR.

And once a month Wed night Meakin with mini, maybe we need a mini challenge cup

Road trip is temples tone masters in feb, and seriously considering Mildura Nats

B1( use to be ringo & Steve segal)
