Friday – test and tune GCRC

The laps and laughs group will be at the GCRC all day Friday. There are a few extras also planning a trip down so there should be a healthy collection of guys around the place.

Feature race will undoubtedly be 4wd Stock Gary Sturdy, Brad Hall and Heavy going at it, should be good.

I’m charging batteries at the moment for the 4wd and the 2wd – just got to make a quick trip down to the Caravan Park to pick up the Schumacher spares that was delivered there 3 hours after we left, should be at the tracki close to 10 am

Was a great day – one of the best. I swear I’ll never say anything bad about Tamiya/Xray/Lousy/Karl again – what a marshall, and all with a smile too.

  8. Brad Palmer says:

LOUSY KARL – now that’s funny!

He didn’t hang around to have a go of the cougar after I fixed it LOL

I noticed the old boy was a bit slow with the cougar, B1 kept infront !!! LOL

It was a good day – I did over 300 laps and the 4wd was about 1 second faster than the 2wd. I don’t think the track was fast today, suffering I think from the hols and a bit of a lack of maintenance as it’s being bulldosed into a new layout first thing Monday morning. If you have time on Sunday go down and do some laps in the morning and then help pull up the pipes and grass etc ready for the makeover.

Hope the new layout is as good as the old one has been.
