  1. Shane says:

Yes just in front of the top deck mounted servo and behind the front Wheels.

The SP body was a bugger to cut out and not certain which Nose or tail to use but then again its only a quick change with double sided tape.

Now that the sun is out i’ll try a second coat of paint.

  2. Shane says:

When are they due and do you have a price ?

  3. Shane says:

Faskolor a thin coat standard red nothing special

    Usually dry in minutes

  4. wayne s says:

When do you expect a all up price for this beauty

    • heavy says:

The car pictured above is the 2103 Lotus F1 – I expect the all up price would be well into the millions Wayne.

The WRC F1 180 RC Version will be $330 landed in Brisbane. We’ll be able to eyeball one later this week or early next week hopefully, there’s a couple in the air somewhere.

  5. xray Karl says:

and wayne, you’ll need to remember to mount the servo upside down for this car. looks very interesting.

    • heavy says:

Very interesting times in RC F1 at the moment – if you look at the available kits you can see the servo mounted in virtually every position

      • wayne s says:

As soon as I sell the Cougar I will get a WRC F1 180 so look out.
Dave are they running 17.5 or 21.5 PLEASE as I have a 17.5MMM spare

  6. heavy says:

Will have to check with Shane Hyde – I think the intention is to run 21.5 in F1 at Logan obviously the motor of choice would be a rever rather than a high torque motor.

  7. xray Karl says:

i know not rc F1, but Ferrari are launching live the F138….it does look the goods.

Mclaren have launched already today along with Force India, F1 season is underway.

  8. Brad Palmer says:

    Hope it’s 21.5 B1F1driver again

  9. Shane says:

Logan Adopted the National Rule set with one ädditional “Club RULE”
17.5 OR 21.5 MOTORS WHERE ALLOWED

All Local F1 drivers at Nationals where canvased and the outcome was to allow the 17.5 at club level.

However that does not mean we can’thave a gentlemens agreement and run 21.5 onlly

A couple of the New Guys are running 540′s brushed

    Don’t forget F1′s wednesday night Round 2

    Shane

  10. heavy says:

I don’t think it matters much, 21.5 is easier to drive I reckon. I have a 17.5 in mine so I’ll leave it there, hoping to be able to use full throttle one of these days.

Roll on Wednesday night Round 2 – sadly I missed round 1 but I’ll be there this week for sure.
