Washed out AGAIN.
For the third meet in succession we were washed out at Bayside tonight – I guess it always looked that way with showers all day all over Brisbane.
A good crowd of optemists had gathered including some old faces and good supporters of this club, with entries in 21.5 17.5/13.5 and mod and a few gas cars buzzing about. I even saw a F1 and a Mini on the track at one stage.
A little canteen was operating and I think chicken kebabs and snags on bread were enjoyed by many.
Oh well we’ll try again in two weeks.
